The new ASI building is composed of three functional strips. The structure of the underground parking floors consists of a concrete frame of sheer walls and floor slabs. The above ground structre of the building is a multilevel space frame of steel girders and a core of reinforced concrete. The “Screen” is added to this structure, a portal frame supporting the glass facade enclosing the “Tape” a three-dimensional structure in laminated wood between the building and the screen.
